Richard has been in the pattern making business for 37 years. He worked for another pattern shop for 6 years until he decided to strike out on his own. and started his business in the basement of his house.

Carol and Richard made patterns for companies like Penncast which is one of his first customers. Eventually they had more work then they could handle themselves, so they moved into his garage and hired some part time help.

They continued to grow gradually; eventually expanding to a 12,000 square ft. shop. He has over 20 employees which are some of the best craftsmen in the country. Richard works personally with all of the companies he is in business with.

Foundry men have quoted him as one of the most knowledgeable men in the business. With all of his knowledge he is also one of the most respected men in his industry.
